FrameScript Activation

The new FrameScript activation system was launched with the release of FrameScript version 5.x.  If you are using an older version of FrameScript (version 4.x or older), click here for activation information.

As with all new software releases, problems do arise that are not detected during the beta and testing stages and we have found this to be true with the online activation.   We have learned that some network security settings prohibit online activation and that administrator privileges may be necessary.  If you receive an error message during online activation, please follow the instructions below for manual activation.  Regardless of the activation method, the order numbers are required to activate FrameScript 5.x. 

  • The order reference number, also known as the transaction ID number
  • FML reference number, also known as the invoice number. 
  • Note: An email order confirmation from register@fml.com is automatically sent to the purchaser that provides both order numbers.  If you are the end user but did not purchase your license, please contat the purchaser within your oganization or your 3rd party vendor for the order numbers.

There are 3 ways to activate FrameScript 5.x.  Do not use this activation system for older FrameScript versions. 

  1. Online activation - can activate immediately with no waiting period
  2. Manual activation - allow 12-48 hours for authorization code
  3. Group manual activation - one universal authorization code for 5+ licenses

Note:  FrameScript support  is provided by email only to marjorie@fml.com.  All support emails must include both order numbers.  No phone calls please!

Online activation:

  • Download FrameScript 5.x
  • Once installed, an activation box will appear
  • Enter the order numbers in the appropriate fields
  • Enter your name, company and email address
  • Click "Activate online"
  • FrameScript is now activated and ready to use!

NOTE: If internet connectivity is not available or you receive an error message, a manual activation will be required.  Please see the manual activation instructions below. 

To activate the same FrameScript license on another computer, deactivate current FrameScript activation and activate again. The number of FrameScript activations allowed is determined by number of FrameScript licenses purchased.

Manual activation:  (Use only if the online activation fails or if you do not have internet connection).

  • Download FrameScript 5.x
  • Once installed, an activation box will appear
  • Enter the order numbers in the appropriate fields
  • Enter your name, company and email address
  • Choose "other activation options"
  • An activation number (AN) will be displayed.  Email the activation number and also include your order numbers to marjorie@fml.com and an authorization code will be returned.
  • Enter the authorization code in the authorization code field and click activate
  • FrameScript is now activated and ready to use!
  • Authorization codes are returned as soon as possible.  Please allow up to 48 hours for a return code.

To move or activate the same FrameScript license on another computer, a new authorization code will be required.  The number of FrameScript activations allowed is determined by number of FrameScript licenses purchased.

Group manual activation:

  • The group manual activation method was developed to accomodate organizations that purchase 5+ licenses. This activation method voids the use of the online activation.  A universal authorization code will be provided for all end users.  To use this method, please send your request for a group authorization code to marjorie@fml.com and include both order numbers.
